Kinect VS Playstation Move

The eye toy, at this moment in time, is like a 2.

You know i don't really care much for Microsoft's new Kinect or Sony's Move since I wasn't really that impressed by any of them. Let's say that both technologies are as good as each other.

No Kinect is better, I can't see how you can even like contemplate that Kinect isn't better then Move?

the concept of it is great and in the future that'll be the way to go, but at the moment PS Move is much more suited to the technology at hand, you can have a much wider variety of games than kinect provides, the only perspective that can be taken where kinect beats move is the entertainment side, and i dont mean games. It's pretty cool that you don't need controllers, but for games its just not practical at the moment

Can i just say that both are kinda in the shadows of the technology of the 3DS.
But for admin's sake, i think Kinect is better.

Hmm... I can see where you are coming from, but Kinect has a lot more potential the Move does for expanding and being integrated into games (think thats a spelling mistake there)

We'll have to wait and see, I was one of the first few to pre-order it, so I should get it on launch day...

yeah it does have a load more potential, but atm i think PS move is the better thing, in the future il admit that kinect, whatever it may become, will be better, but for now PS Move rules!

and kingwayz, just shush. 3DS doesnt even compare to the major consoles, gameplay sucks, graphics suck, if anything its worse because you have the crap graphics now coming at you

Nah, the 3DS is amazing technology. 3D, without glasses! That beats the PS3 3D hands down!

who cares about the need for glasses! it just means that you get a better eperience because the 3DS only works at a certai angle, ps3 works at ANY angle

but its terrible graphics, in 3D whats so good about that?? would you be happy if a nintendo 64 had 3D graphics?? or would you prefer a console that produces an actual decent image like either Xbo or PS3

Yeah but you don't get it that it's not N64 graphics!!! It's great graphics for a handheld system! Im sure if someone beefed the 3DS up to the size of a PS3 and ran it through an HDTV you'd get something way better than PS3 graphics.

i know you dont get it in an N64, but it'd be terrible in it because of the bad graphics it produces, similar to the 3DS i might add.

If you are only interested in graphics then i would consider you a noob among gamers. You need depth!! (excuse the pun) Something that you'd get from the 3DS!!

ive played DS games though, and the storylines are either boring or predictable (excluding pokemon of course which is just a badass game)

The same can be said for any Playstation game.

well it couldnt, as there is assassins creed, ratchet and clank, all COD games, battlefront, need for speed, resistance, BIOSHOCK! and all of the games have more than one in the series yet still come out with better storylines than most DS games

How about what happens in Final Fantasy, Metroid, Animal Crossing, COD, Professor Layton, Rooms - for the DS? Most DS games are made for the gameplay. That's what Nintendo treasure! You can't say that Super Mario Galaxy is a bad game for having such a bad storyline.

i cant comment i havent played it, but if it has a bad storyline then what's the point? how are you supposed to be interested in something that has little or no meaning? and btw the COD and FF games on the DS are just shockingly bad, ive played them and got bored in minutes

So is that why nearly 100 major game critics have rated SMG2 90+? Oh, man thanks for enlightening me that video games must have a novel-quality story to be appreciated in this world.

Don't you play pokemon?? I must say that has THE MOST PREDICTABLE storyline in the history of the world.

the only reason games like that get a high rating is because look at what it's being compared against put it against real games, played on xbox or PS and it'd get below 50!
and yeah but pokemon's just a bit of fun, i played it since i was about 7 so i just carry on because ive always played it

No all games get compared against EVERY OTHER GAME. It would be stupid to rate a game against the others on a system. How would you decide which systems had the higher rated games compared to each other?
