it wont rival WoW i dont think because it already has a HUGE established fanbase and there are some scarily devoted fans out there lol. I mean just look at a certain school teacher we know of who teaches physics lol, dno whether i should say name but yeah. But nah, it could do well, but it wont run WoW into the ground

I think it's stupid games which require a subscription...

Ye they make money but aren't they satisfied with the money they get off of game sales?

but MMORPG's require staff to keep it running, games on our consoles are just premade and then off you go. Our games just use servers to control the online thing but MMORPG's are more complicated, so they need more money to pay for them

I guess that MMOs have a development team as well for constant updates. You're basically paying for those updates.

yup, then all the programmers that have to put them in the game and constantly make new misisons and BASICALLY its a lot of work that needs paying for, and advertising doesnt quite cover it
